Whitbourne Village Hall was opened in 2002 on the site of the original Coronation Hall. The new hall was built with the aid of a Millennium Lottery grant. It is a modern, well-equipped hall set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. The hall is located in the centre of the village, it has ample car-parking and is also adjacent to the bus stop.
Whitbourne Village Hall is a charity and is run by a management committee of volunteer trustees. We are extremely proud of our wonderful facility and welcome both villagers and people from the surrounding communities to make use of the facility.
We aim to make the process of booking and using the hall as easy as possible and it is with this in mind that we have included a booking system on this website.
Whitbourne Village Hall is used for a diverse range of activities and by a variety of groups both local and from further afield. We currently host:
- Wedding receptions
- Children’s parties
- Family celebrations
- A line-dancing group
- Aerial yoga classes
- Yoga classes
- Dog training sessions
- Pilates classes
- Our local “coffee and chat” group
- The Harvest Festival
The hall is also used by a number of local groups for their meetings. These include:
- The Parish Council
- The Whitbourne shop Committee
- Women’s institute
- The Garden Society
- The Fete Committee
Our hall is also used as a polling station for all elections.
